Hi, my name is Rebecca and I am the face behind the camera here at Magical Garden Portraits. I developed a love of photography at 19 years old and have been refining my skills since. Originally photography was a hobby, however once I had children, I made the decision to use my gift of photography to create a business that worked around my children whilst they were young.
Magical Garden Portraits was one of the original fairy fine art portraiture photographers in Australia.
I just adore the finished product of fine art photography and I also have a passion for multi-generational vintage photography.Here at Magical Garden Portraits,we specialize in the photography of children dressed in our beautiful costumes against a white screen. Those photos are then inserted into our gorgeous digital backgrounds, creating wonderful magical garden portrait art of your child / children.
There is a magic in inviting children to use their imagination and capture the beauty of the awe and wonder of their imaginary world.
I have had a little break with Magical Garden Portraits, and whilst I have been taking some time off from photography, I have been busy working in the background to give my business some updates it needed.
Now we are back and we are ready to create some magical photo memories for your family from our mobile studio – bringing our magical art portraiture to regional locations across Australia!

Travelling Photographer: Our photo sessions are done in a mobile studio against a white background. Magical Garden Portraits will be travelling Australia, visiting major centres and rural towns for approximately 2-3 weeks at a time. This allows for the initial photo session, and the follow-up viewing session where you will be able to purchase the magical art photography, before we move on to the next town in our schedule.
